R12 Oracle Common Application Components Fundamentals

What you will learn:

This course is intended for functional implementers of Oracle applications that use one or more of the common application components: Resource Manager, Territory Manager, Calendar, Tasks, Notes, Assignment Manager, Escalation Manager, Business Rules Monitor, Interaction History, and One-to-One Fulfillment. Along with implementation tasks and details, this course explores the functionality of these component modules, and how they inter-relate with one another and other Oracle application modules. Through lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises, students gain a thorough understanding of how these components serve as foundation modules for the Oracle E-Business suite. For example, resources can be created, allocated to territories, and have work shifts assigned to them in calendars. This enables resources to be assigned to tasks and documents, either for standard business operations or for escalations. You can record interactions with customers using standard or customized logging. This course shows how these operations can be set up and performed, using the features and functionality of the common application modules.
